Drawn to the cinematic, beguiled by the beautiful and the poignant, I’ve now embraced a new journey as an independent content creator. This follows the end of a long, fulfilling career as an event photographer.

Since giving up professional photography, I’ve been so happy with the response to my new posts on social media - a kind of “long goodbye” to my many years of photo taking. Thank you to so many of my followers for their kind words, feedback and messages of goodwill.

With over 20 years of professional level experience, I served the photography industry in countless weddings, corporate events, family portrait sessions and more. I continue to shoot for specific projects that interest me on a casual basis.

Social Media

I have acted as a consultant to several premium brands in Hong Kong, Asia and Europe with regard to their social media presence. My own IG @hurtingbombz is, according to my “handler” at Meta, considered to be one of the best performing accounts in Asia in terms of engagement-per-follower.

Videography

With the decision to retire from professional photography, I have parlayed a passing interest in creating moving imagery into a more structured embellishment to my content universe, via Reels, Youtube and more.

Today, I continue to uphold the power of content as a channel for good, rather than the more cynical view of it as a medium for bare, unvarnished self-promotion. I remain committed to creating content with a nod to the beauty of the world we live in, and the furtherance of kindness and grace. I remain moved by so many people who have shown their support and care during this time of change and flux.
